wat is het verschil tussen een O en een Z ring ketting? kan dat iemand uitleggen aub?
Bij een O ring ketting heb je 1 afgesloten vet compartiment en met een Z (of X) zijn het 2 ?
Een Z of X ring ketting houd daardoor langer dan een O ring ketting.

en dat is dus beter? waarom?
Volgens mij zijn beide goed, maar altijd hetzelfde verkopen(O ring) is niet goed voor klant want die wil altijd iets nieuw :-X

Niet mee eens.
De dubbele contactvlakken én de vetgevulde kamer in de "X" vormen extra barrieres tegen vuil dat wil binnendringen.
Dit principe wordt bij industriële afdichtingen veel toegepast.
Hoe meer barrieres, hoe beter.

Ik heb nog nergens gelezen/gehoord dat O ring minder km maakt dan andere profielen van ring :?
